Do not go higher than 10,000 feet if you have any of the following conditions:
1. A nose bleed
2. A cold
3. A sore throat
4. Respiratory infection
5. A High Temperature

I have mentioned this a few times, but the cheapest way to get to Tanzania and climb Kilimanjaro is via Nairobi, and typically through Kenya Airways, which has cheap flights from London.
